Charles was born about 1789 in England.

Children

  • Hare was born about 1834 in Paihia. He had a daughter Mereanu Ruru in about 1852, daughter Rangipaku Ngahuia around 1860 in the Bay of Islands, daughter Maraea around 1866, daughter Hipirini Hii around 1871, son Kamira Hare around 1872 in Auckland, daughter Pinekira around 1874 in Rawene. His daughter Mereana died around 1900. Records show he was living in Auckland in 1908. He died on November 20, 1929 in Rawene.

  • Mere was born about 1841. She died about 1921.

  • Rangipaku’s birth and death year is unknown.
